Though most of its members chose to join out of their fondness for playing pingpong, top players from the club are chosen to represent NYU in divisional, regional and national tournaments. Guided by former NCTTA champion, head coach Gao Yanjun, the NYU table tennis club won their first-ever national collegiate championship this past April.
