Dionisio Cimarelli – International Sculptor

Dionisio Cimarelli is a renown artist who has traveled the world, constantly adding to his repertoire of sculptures.

He studied in Asia in the 80s and was influenced by Chinese artwork. Dionisio was determined to make art that had ties to both his home country, Italy, and this new place of inspiration, China.

He took on the challenge of mastering Chinese Porcelain as a medium. He is known for many works including, but not limited to, his sculpture of Matteo Ricci.

Both Cimarelli and Ricci have traveled from Italy to China, studied Chinese language and customs, and sought to combine cultures in their work.

Dionisio Cimarelli plans to continue honing his skill, much like the sculptures that he works on so meticulously.
