Farewell and Welcome Hong Kong’s Representative in New York

Hong Kong Economic and Trade office held a tea reception on Wednesday for New York media outlets to meet with Director Steve Barclay before he retires, and to meet with the new Director (Designate) Joanna Chu.

During the reception, Director Steve Barclay recounted some of his proudest accomplishments of his three-year stint in New York, and expressed his belief that incoming director Chu will be able to bring valuable skills and insight to the organization. He hopes the office will continue to build upon on his previously established efforts to reach out to a new generation of young Americans, in the coming years.
