He Yafei on U.S.-China in the New World Order

The U.S.-China Relationship is one of the most important in the world, and has emerged at the forefront of the rapidly shifting world order. Ambassador He Yafei, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Deputy Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, People’s Republic of China, held a presentation at China Institute in New York, discussing the role of the two nations as an anchor for sustainable political and economic change.

Ambassador He was joined by Consul General Zhang Qiyue, and China Institute President James B. Heimowitz.

Ambassador He touched upon a few key points highlighting the many opportunities and challenges presented by furthering U.S.-China cooperation, including the Belt and Road Initiative, and increasing people-to-people exchange.
