Jerome Lowenthal: A Pianist Who Broke Barriers to Cross Cultural Borders

Jerome Lowenthal had his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Since then, he studied internationally, performed with nearly every major American orchestra and conductor while also being a faculty member at Music Academy of the West and Julliard.

His ability to approach students individually, and his understanding different cultures, allows him to make direct connections with people regardless of backgrounds. Jerome says, "a musician finds his way into the music first of all musically, and then the knowledge of the culture...shapes what the musician is doing."
