Ji Cong:Chinese pianist inspiring people by her music

Ji Cong is a Chinese Ph.D. student studying music at City University of New York-Graduate Center. Prior to that, she attended New York University Steinhardt at New York University and Manhattan School of Music at Manhattan Music School in New York City, where she completed her postgraduate studies with honors and later studied professional studies. While at school, Ji has been involved in many solo and chamber music performances as well as participating in summer master classes and music festivals in North America and Europe. Since then, Ji Cong has had a variety of roles, from independent research and exploration of ability as a student, to working professionally as a young pianist. We met with Ji, to better understand her musical journey from east to west.
