Occupation Nation: CEO of Co.Fund, Qing Zhu

Qing Zhu has not one, but two, masters degrees- one from NYU Steinhardt and another in Control Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in China. She has been working in real estate investment in both the US and China for over a decade, and is constantly expanding her business. She is the founder and CEO of Co. Fund, a. cross border crowdfunding platform company that works with the US and China.

While Qing has much success to date, she is still facing some significant roadblocks. She has found that many American clients are not familiar with the Chinese economic environment. Also, as an Asian woman working in the US, Qing feels that people overlook her ability because of her youthful appearance.

Despite these difficulties, Qing is motivated to lead her team to more successful ventures with their online crowdfunding platform.
