President Xi And President Obama Meet In The U.S. Capitol

On Friday morning, Obama greeted Xi and Peng Liyuan on their arrivals at the White House for an elaborate ceremony on the South Lawn, including a military honor guard and 21-gun salute.

Xi also delivered an address, in which he thanked president Barack Obama for his invitation and great hospitality, and conveyed to the American people the warm regards and best wishes of over 1.3. billion Chinese people.
