Sharon Lin on the Social Good Behind ‘White Water’ App

Sharon Lin is a software engineer, writer, entrepreneur, and activist from Corona, Queens. She is a rising freshman at MIT, and has already been named a White House Champion of Change, NYC Poet Youth Laureate, and more recently, a 2017 Young Innovator to Watch by CE Week. Her most recently developed app, 'White Water', is designed to give impoverished communities access to water analysis information with just a smartphone, and an image.
