Sister Jolin: Factory Girl Turned Stripper Chasing An Acting Dream

To take a closer look at what the rapid economic growth brings to China's society,

Chinese directors Siyan Liu and Danni Wang spent 2 years following 22 year old Jolin, a factory girl turned stripper who underwent plastic surgery to pursue her dream of acting.

Their documentary is titled “sister Jolin.” Sinovision Journal Reporter Jane Stone interviewed the two directors of the film and brings you the story.
