Studio Visit: Vikki Zhang

Since falling in love with comics as a teenager, Vikki Zhang had always dreamed of becoming an illustrator.

While majoring in digital game design at the communication university of china, she was commissioned to illustrate a children's book. Seizing on the opportunity, Vicky completed the project and collaborated with the publisher to create more illustrations.

Feeling confident after this experience, Vicky decided to apply to SVA's illustration as visual essay program. When we got accepted, she moved to NY to study, work and live as an illustrator.
