Tenant Stories:Under One Roof

An exhibition entitled Under One Roof will be on displayed at the Tenement Museum in mid October. The exhibition tells stories of three families lived in the same building in New York City’s lower east side during the decades following WW2. The Epstein family, polish refugees who lived in the building from 1955-1961; The Puerto Rican family, who lived there from 1964-2013; and the Wong family, Chinese immigrants, who lived there from 1968-2014. Before the guide tour starts, we met with the curator to get a closer look at the exhibition.
