The Rising Chinese Rap Star PG One Performed at Modern Sky Festival

Hip Hop, known as “Xi Ha” in Chinese, is becoming increasingly popular among Chinese youth who have been introduced to it, and it draws fairly large crowds to different festivals and venues. This summer, Rap has became a nationwide popular topic in China due to one of the most popular rap reality show titled “The Rap of China”. After a three month competition, the champion finally goes to a young rap talent who is known as PG One. And this coming Saturday, PG One, with his crew named HHH, performed in the modern sky festival as it returns to its fourth year in NYC. We talked to PG One, to see his experience of becoming one of the rising Rap star in a sudden moment.
