United Nation’s Chinese Language Evening

The United Nations Headquarters and the UN Chinese Book Club held a Chinese Language Evening – an evening that began with a lecture on the current state of the Chinese language

Given by the renowned linguist Dr. Li Yuming who has published more than 20 books and 400 papers on the same topic and has been the Chancellor of Beijing Language and Culture University since 2012.

The evening also included cultural performances, music by the United Nations Singers, and a fashion show inspired by both traditional and contemporary Chinese wear.
