Xu Zhen at James Cohan Gallery

As a leading figure among the young generation of Chinese artists, Xu Zhen's works discuss sociopolitical issues in a global context. Using a wide range of media and themes, his art draws from imagination and humor to evoke moments of complexity. From sept 8th to oct 8th, works by xu zhen will be on display at James Cohan gallery in Chelsea.

A large-scale sculpture from the Eternity series, a film titled “Rainbow”, selections from his Under Heaven paintings and a new wall insallation under the name of Corporate, all the artworks included in the exhibition excites audiences’ potent sensations such as pain, pleasure, and desire.
